Terms of Service

By engaging Creoa for website design services, you agree to the following terms. These terms are also formalized in the project contract signed by both parties before work begins.

1. Scope of Services

Creoa agrees to design and develop a website as described in the project quote and agreed upon in the signed contract. Any changes to the agreed scope — including additional pages, features, or functionality beyond what was quoted — may result in an adjusted price, which will be communicated and agreed upon before additional work begins.

2. Project Contract

All projects begin with a signed contract between the client and Creoa (Logan Bilodeau). The contract outlines the agreed scope, deliverables, and payment terms. No work begins until both parties have signed.

3. Mockup and Approval Process

Creoa will deliver an initial website mockup within 1–2 business days of contract execution. The client has the opportunity to provide feedback and request revisions before full development begins. Final approval of the mockup is required before the live website is built.

4. Revisions

Reasonable revisions to the finished website are included in every plan and are addressed before payment is requested. Revision requests outside the agreed scope may be quoted as additional work.

5. Payment Terms

Creoa does not require any upfront payment or deposit. Payment is collected only after the client has reviewed the completed website, provided any final feedback, and is fully satisfied with the result. The website is not connected to the client's domain until payment is received. Upon payment, full ownership of the website files and code is transferred to the client.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of final payment, the client owns all rights to the custom website design and code created by Creoa for their project. Creoa retains the right to display the work in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

7. Client-Provided Materials

The client is responsible for providing accurate information, content, and photography to be used on the website. Creoa is not liable for errors or misrepresentations in client-supplied content.

8. Limitation of Liability

Creoa's liability for any claim related to services rendered is limited to the total amount paid for the specific project. Creoa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America.

Client Process Agreement

This is exactly how every Creoa project works. Every client goes through the same steps in the same order — no exceptions.

  1. Contract First — Before any work begins, the client signs a contract agreeing to Creoa's terms and conditions. Nothing moves forward until the contract is signed.
  2. Mockup Delivery (1–2 Days) — Within 1–2 business days of the signed contract, Creoa delivers a website mockup showing the design direction, layout, and overall look and feel.
  3. Mockup Feedback — The client reviews the mockup and tells Creoa what they like, what they want changed, and why. Revisions are made based on this feedback before development begins.
  4. Full Website Build — Once the mockup direction is approved, Creoa builds the real, fully functional website.
  5. Final Review & Revisions — The completed website is delivered to the client for review. The client provides any final feedback, and Creoa addresses it. This stage continues until the client is satisfied.
  6. Payment — Once the client is happy with the final website, payment is collected. No payment is required until this point.
  7. Domain Connection — After payment is received, Creoa connects the website to the client's domain. The site goes live.

Timeline varies based on scope and how quickly the client provides feedback. Starter projects typically complete in 3–7 business days. Elite projects may take 7–14 business days.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure your website project is completed on time and to your expectations, clients are responsible for the following:

Domain Registration

Purchasing and managing your domain name (e.g., yourname.com) is the client's responsibility. Domain registration costs approximately $10–20 per year and is purchased through a registrar such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains. Creoa will guide you through this process but does not cover the cost.

MLS Integration Codes

If your website requires MLS (Multiple Listing Service) integration to display live property listings, the client is responsible for obtaining and paying for the necessary MLS access codes or IDX license through their local MLS board. Creoa will build the integration into your website once you provide these codes.

Website Hosting

After delivery, the client is responsible for hosting their website on a provider of their choice. Creoa can recommend hosting options based on your technical needs and budget.

Content and Photography

The client is responsible for providing content (text about their background, market, and services) and photography. Creoa can assist with copy direction and may use placeholder stock imagery during development, but professional photography of the agent is strongly recommended.

Timely Feedback

Project timelines depend on prompt client feedback at each approval stage. Delays in client response may extend the project timeline accordingly.

Refund Policy

Because payment is collected only after the final website has been delivered, reviewed, and approved by the client, refunds after payment are not standard. Creoa's process is designed so that you are satisfied before you pay — not after.

Before Payment

If the client decides not to proceed after signing the contract but before payment, work completed to that point is forfeited. The client retains no rights to the design or code produced.

After Payment

Because the client has approved and accepted the final website before payment, refunds are not available for change-of-mind situations. If there is a legitimate error in the delivered product that differs materially from what was agreed, contact Logan directly at ask.creoa@gmail.com to resolve the issue.

Our Commitment

Our goal is for every client to feel they received fair value and a quality product. If something isn't right, we will always make it right before asking for payment. This is the Creoa standard.
